Been watching Bond films all day for research on a story. (Said story will have a few shout-outs to Bond movies). I have to say, its the most enjoyable research I've ever done for a story before. :D I'm going to try not to have too many shout-outs to the Brosnan era films, though Pierce Brosnan was my favorite Bond (and Goldeneye my favorite Bond movie as well). Sean Connery is my second favorite Bond, I guess, since he's the original.

Also, I hear they finally started production on the new Daniel Craig Bond movie. It's not coming out til 2012, though. :(

So, what's everyone's favorite Bond movie? I need a recommendation for what I should watch next--I've seen all the Brosnan and Craig films, a few of the Connery and Moore films, but really nothing else.

You need to see some of the Brosan ones! Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough are great!

I haven't seen a Bond film in full ever, but that sounds like my kind of research! :D

I admittedly haven't seen very many of the new ones--a couple of Brosnan ones, none of the Craig ones, none of the Dalton ones, and I missed the Lazenby one. I am a HUGE fan of Roger Moore's Bond, for whatever reason, and my favorite was probably The Man With the Golden Gun. I have no idea why, really. I was probably like LOL THREE NIPPLES or something. :|

Ooooh, cool research indeed! :D

Brosnan also is my favorite Bond... I haven't seen the other Bond's movies in forever though, so I can't really help you there...

Oh, yes: avoid "At Her Majesty's Secret Service". I remember it being NOT good and boring.

Haha, one of the channels at my area did a two month long Bond marathon where it would show a Bond movie twice a week. That's like five years ago though, so I can't remember most of the movies. XD

Hm, have you seen Diamonds are Forever? That one is with Connery and that's a good one. From Russia With Love and Thunderball are pretty good ones too if you haven't seen those.

Bond movies are fun, even when they are completely ridiculous. Some times especially when they are ridiculous.

I find that Brosnan has this weird thing where, despite having a bunch of really bad Bond movies, he's still my mental image of how "James Bond" should look.
