Since AUSA is this weekend in Arlington, VA, I thought I'd mention that I'm running the Full Metal Alchemist panel this year.

It's a crappy timeslot. (Sunday at 10 AM?!! Dx) But at least I GOT a panel this year.

It'll probably be an info panel with some discussion about the series in general, about merchandise, about the brotherhood dub, etc. Because I don't think I can get away with showing fansubs at a big con like this. D:

Anyway, hoping to see some of you there!

You know its sad when Yugioh Abridged updates more often than you. :(

Fallen behind because the first draft of my 12 page term paper is due in History 300. It's a term paper, in a high level history class. I think that tells you enough about how hard it is. D|

Also new icon. I think my soul was sold to them the instant I first picked up Kingdom Hearts. (Relevant cuz Squeenix owns FMA.)

Had to work today, but going out to the mall dressed as a sad FMA fangirl (I had nothing else in my dorm closet but my Edward Elric coat. D: Was going to dress as Sarah Palin, but didn't get a chance to go home and borrow mom's red dress coat for said costume) with my BFF, and then going to wrap ourselves in tinfoil and go to Chipotle to get ourselves a free meal.

 

Not the best Halloween I've ever had, but FMA geekiness and free food equates to a pretty good one, I'm thinking.

Yes, the time has come to retire my old Kingdom Hearts layout. So, instead, I decided on a new FMA-themed layout. And since the new opening was EPIC, I decided to scour that for a good pic.

Guess who might have the Swine Flu?

I've been sick for a few days, and a guy who I ended up in the car wtih on the way up and back down from Detriot mentioned that he might have had Swine Flu last week--and one of his buddies definitely had it a few weeks ago.

So far I just have regular flu symptoms, but if I end up in the hospital on a respirator, I'll be certain to tell all so you can all whip out your monitor disinfectant.

I spent most of today babysitting my three year old cousin. I'm amazed I had the energy for this. D|

Finally got some time to catch up on these things, as for once I have a week where I don't have to write a paper on something I don't care about.

Hey, I wanted to know if anyone is planning on hitting Anime Detriot this year. My boss is actually one of the con chairs for this one, and I'm gonna end up working at the con as staff.

Not booth staff, thank god, but actual con staff--running around with a clipboard and the like. I also have to run a few panels (pretty much just random programming since we have gaps in the panel schedule, but I hope I can run the FMA and or Kingdom Hearts panels or something.) and the card game tournaments, since that's what I do best.

I'll also be introduced to Johnny Yong Bosch (!!) at the con, so that's a plus.

The con is pretty dang cheap to get into, and there will be the usual con stuff, so it looks like it'll be fun. Not as large as Otakon, of course, since its only in its first year, but we want a ton of people to come since well, we'd like to do it again next year.
