Work REALLY sucks.

I'll try to get up ep. 13 tomorrow, but no promises.
At least I update more often than VG Cats. )

OMG.
I can't believe I forgot about the FMA capsummary this week!

I thought I had done it already! *hurries to finish*

(Granted, I remembered thinking about doing it yesterday, but then Michael Jackson died and I shut myself in my room with my mom's old MJ CDs watching his music videos on repeat on youtube. Why is it that you truely discover how awesome someone was after they died?)

Should be done tomorrow, at least. Its a week late, but meh, I'm working 40 hours a week and sleeping (and playing Crisis Core) all other times I"m not at work. So sue me.

Its a sad day today. I mean... I never thought that one day Michael Jackson would be gone. It's like...he's always been there.

And he was young too, only 50. Really sucks. Especially for his kids, and all his fans.

I never was a big fan, but his old music was all right--I respected the guy because of that. Its just really sad that things like this have to happen.

(Also, going into bitch mode, but a girl I cannot STAND on my facebook is running around crying,  "OMG, I'M HIS BIGGEST FAN AND I WILL FOREVER MOURN HIM."

But I  (really want to) say to her: Biggest fan, huh? LEARN TO SPELL HIS NAME, DIPSHIT. "M-I-C-H-A-E-L"
)

But, that was petty, And it has no place here. So I will say this; farewell, MJ, you will be missed.

I really should learn not to buy videogames when I have something more important to be done.

So close to finishing the next Suzaku chapter (FINALLY), so close to finishing that original story I've been working on since 2007--so close to finally finishing organizing my room--

And then I go to the video game store and spend half my paycheck on a PSP and Crisis Core.

...This is one of those times, when I really, REALLY hate SquareEnix for making me their bitch.

(Still, even though I'm pissed at Sony for making me buy a memory card for this overpriced thing, I have to say, its sort of worth it. The graphics for the PSP are WAY better than the DS could ever hope to have.)

...I still like Nintendo better, though.

(Also, damn you slash goggles. I ship it. All of it. And I think my mind has turned Zack into some kind of turbouke fandom bicycle--except with Cloud.)

Two DC Metro trains crashed yesterday. 9 people are dead.

Even though it was the Red Line and I don't know anyone who rides the red line, its still pretty scary.

I mean, all through last year, I rode the metro (Orange Line) every WEEK in order to get to work. I'll probably have to do the same once school starts, since my parents are too cheap to get me a car. Its kind of a scary thought, since I was under the impression that after the safety measures put in place after the 2004 crash, all the cars were computer operated and it was nearly impossible for them to crash.

Guess not.

My sympathies to the families of the deceased. And to anyone, really, who's forced to ride those old cars with the ugly brown and orange seats in order to get to work.

EDIT: Just found out that the reason the train crashed was because it was an older model, that had been cited as unsafe, and its auto-brakes weren't functioning.

Those bastards! Why is it always something like this! With the airbus crash and everything, it's ALWAYS that the train or plane or something was deemed unsafe, and yet the company didn't do anything about it!

Who gives a fuck about saving a little money when PEOPLE ARE DYING because you wanted to save an extra thousand on not replacing old and defunct trains!

*insert rage here*

I've mostly stopped posting about my sister, but this was too amazing not to post about it.

So, she asks me if it is okay to download an app to her computer, which is kind of old. So I ask her, "Well, that application is a Vista-only application. Is your computer Vista?" (It's XP, but that's beside the point.)

She then looks closely at her monitor and points...to the sticker on the monitor base. "It's HP. Does that count?"

I loled, then facepalmed.

And here I was just a few days ago praising her on her geekiness that made her print out an entire sheet of Kingdom Hearts synthesis items and where to find them in order to finish the game. I now take that back.

Iran
I know everyone's posting about Iran right now, and about the riots and how horrible it is and stuff and how we can make a difference and shit.

Well, I figured I might as well post my two cents.
I don't know how to spell any of these names. )

Crying tears of happiness, brb. T_T

Though I know this means the plot is gonna get ugly soon, damnit.

Still on this happy-high, I can't bear to watch the next FMA episode. I haven't felt this happy since I read the last chapter of Hana-Kimi, so I don't want to spoil it.

FFFFFFFFF. Sunrise. What.

They are most definitely trolling now.

And the wank. Oh my god, the wank!

(Also...is it wrong that I kinda sorta wish this = canon. And I had JUST gotten to the point where I could accept his death and watch ep. 25 again. And now this. Fuck.)

Also, I have the inspiration to finish my Farmlouch fic now. Thank you, Sunrise!

So, I'm a Hockey fan. Red Wings, specifically. (From Michigan, so I'm not glory-riding like what I do with every other sport since Michigan has sucky teams for everything else.)

And it's the final. For the Cup. Against the Penguins. Just like last year. (Oooh, Tension! Though, we won last year).

And last two games, the Wings lost. Horribly.

So the one day I decide to skip watching the game because I'm afraid that we'll lose and lose our chances at the Cup--

We win. 5-0.

FUCK.

And I didn't even do anything PRODUCTIVE with my time, either. Just skipped out on my mom's birthday party to play some Magic. (Okay, they left for the restaurant--my FAVORITE restaurant-- without telling me because I was working late, so when I found out that they already left, I got mad and decided to stay late instead. Yes, I'm a dick, I know, but I already gave mom her present anyway). And I got killed at Magic. I should stick to video games and not the card-kind.

I think the win at hockey and me missing it was some sort of karmic punishment for skipping out on my mom's b-day party.

...

I should do that more often.

How much I love these guys.

Okay. I'm sure many of you have noticed in my entries and style thereof, that I might be a little...open about the subject of sex. It's not because I'm hypersexual or anything, its because I'm used to it. I used to work as an advice-giver on a teen sex board a year or so back. I had to know sex facts and stuff for the poor kids who didn't know a dildo from a vibrator. (Spoiler Alert--one VIBRATES. Though there actually are other differences.)

It's kinda nice to know a lot of stuff about *THAT* subject. For one, I'm conforted that anytime, anywhere, I always know the facts to keep me safe. For another, its a great party trick when someone who's not getting any at the moment knows more about sex than the person getting laid every night.

Also, I always feel that if there is something I can do, I should do it. For awhile, until I got too fed up with a moderator on that site, I felt it was my calling to scream "USE CONDOMS" at poor, stupid kids who came there.

So, now to what the entry''s about. A lot of times, I would need info on a certain subject, I would go to these guys. They run a very informative Youtube channel with sex education, info about condoms, lube, etc, and I've felt I had to share it with you guys, because 1. INFORMATIVE. and 2. They're pretty funny, actually.

Also, it is my belief that you can't learn enough about sex. Because its a basic NEED TO KNOW subject, no matter what "ABSITNANCE ONLY" conservatives want to tell us.

...I wouldn't be talking about this, but I need SOMETHING to do while Photobucket takes OVER AN HOUR processing my capsummary pics.

By E3. Appealing to those "casual gamers". The ones who'd rather play Wii Fit and Rockband and Guitar Hero and delude themselves into thinking that those are "REAL" games.

I understand that video games are now cool, but fuck if I don't feel a little betrayed. I was there back when video games were played by Nerds in their mom's basement. I've been there. I'm still there. I don't give a shit about motion control. I don't care if I'm getting exercise--I. WANT. MY. VIDEOGAMES. THE. WAY. I . KNOW. THEM.

I have no loyalty to Microsoft, but even SONY is jumping on the "lol, motionsensor" bandwagon? I know Nintendo and Microsoft already sold out to the casual gamers, but SONY? Who's sticking with the PS3 even if it sucks right now?

*sigh*. Why is using a controller not cool anymore? It's the easiest way to play an RPG, my favorite type of game. (I know...I suffered through figuring out controls on Dawn of the New World).

I know there's some hope, in knowing that the Big 2 (I REFUSE to put Microsoft on the same level as Sony and Nintendo. They will NEVER be at that level) won't ever give up Zelda or Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts, but a lot of good RPGs are leaving as these "casual gamer games" are making more center stage. I was actually a bit upset when I learned that the new Star Ocean would be the last in the series.

Now its like I'm no longer looking at Sony or Nintendo for the next cool thing, but the game companies themselves. So God Bless you Square Enix and Namco, for at least keeping me from beeing too disappointed in gaming.

(But the second Kingdom Hearts and Tales stop production...then I'm out of here. I swear it).

Still, thank you E3, for giving us a US KH 358/2 Days release date. Sometime in September? I'll mark it on my calendar then!
